It's pretty self-explanatory: 'craft days' are days set aside for crafting, e.g. being creative and making things.
Yesterday, I had a friend come over for a craft day ^_^ We made that yummy Godiva Chocolate Truffle coffee that I love so much, and I taught her how to use paper quilling to make pretty cards for people.
The card making gave me a chance to break out the new Martha Stewart scoring board that I got for 50% off.
"Score flawless, crisp lines in seconds. Create invitations,
envelopes, gift boxes, and more. Includes envelope guide
and bone folder. Easily accessible storage compartments."
How amazing does that sound?!? I've invested in many different brands of crafting materials, and Martha Stewart is one of the only brands that hasn't let me down.
Oprah had Martha Stewart on her show this week and she put a 50% off coupon for any one regularly priced item on her website. It was only up for a couple days.... and I'll admit, I printed more than one ^_^
With my other 50% off coupon, I bought (well, my mom bought using my credit card because it's only 1 coupon allowed per customer) these craft markers, and at half off, they were still $15
I'm not very good at drawing. But, improvement can always be made. The markers passed their test. I'm totally keepin' 'em =D
My friend ended up being really good at quilling.
Here's a few photos of the card that she made:
^That is her first rose! Doesn't it look good?
And this is the one that I made, nice and simple ))
Have any of you gotten the chance to try paper quilling yet?
If you do other crafts, what are they? I love hearing how creative other people can be.

I love crafting! Sounds like a fun day!
I just purchased Martha's scoring board and look forward to giving it a try. I craft quilled snowflakes and plan to use the scoring board to make gift boxes for them.
