Idk.. I'm kind of weird. I usually have to listen to music for a little while before I can warm up to it (ex: like with The Postal Service; I took a good year to like them). Sure, there are songs I take and immediate liking to. However, those little gems are too few and far between.
Somebody That I Used To Know is one of those gems. Oh my gosh, I love this song (and the video!)
Gotye's album, Making Mirrors, we shall see. In time. )
I have a confession to make...... ready... here it is:
Not one bit. I don't dislike 'them,' personally. But their music. It does nothing for me. Iconic. Whatever. I don't care. Maybe they have good lyrics. But they aren't good enough (to me) for me to listen to their music by choice. I'd prefer to simply read them. Really though, I don't care for MOST oldies. Hate all you want. I don' kerr. )))
Why bring this up? Beats me. Maybe there's a tiny part of me that thinks of The Beatles when I hear Gotye.... or not. Haha. Really, idk.)))
The original purpose of this post: I need new music. So, please share. Comment. Email. How ever you'd like to share it. I'm open to most genres (except screamo and oldies.... and country).... with a preference toward electro-related genres. Oh, and anything that makes the listener feel strong emotion / something that's 'moving' = yes. Doesn't even need words... and doesn't need to be in English. I listen to Arabic, Turkish, Swedish... many languages. ^_^
Thank youuuuuuuuuu! :D

My friend is in a band and they play very unique songs. They are called Park Bence Poet. You should google them and give them a listen!
Alex has recently gotten into Dubstep and it makes me think of you... :) and miss you... :(
